In 1985, GOATLORD emerged from beneath the desolate sands of the Mojave desert and released their first demo two years later, following the replacement of their original bassist. Though the band would ultimately become best known for their first full-length album, "Reflections of the Solstice," it was on this first recording, known succinctly as "Demo '87," that they established the prototype for the primeval sound that would eventually come to characterize them as one of the most unique bands to ever emerge, not only from the depraved setting of Las Vegas, but also from the U.S. metal underground as a whole. Not only is the prestigious NUCLEAR WAR NOW! PRODUCTIONS repressing this, but also three other GOATLORD ALBUMS! Just about every small band knows of BANDCAMP, the site where you can display your music, help sell merch and downloads, and basically help every not so tech savy band make a professional online destination for their fans (you'll notice a LOT of BC links on the ROTW blog…). Well, helping nearly every small band get started wasn't enough for them and they went and created BC WAX as a way to release their BANDCAMP city guide series. Basically, they started with Oakland CA, and each one of the featured artists (everything from Hip Hop to Ethiopian) is from Oakland, all 11 exclusive tracks! This album is released in connection with a new feature in the BANDCAMP app that enables music fans to search by genre, format (vinyl, digital, cassette, etc) and also by city – so if you're looking for techno from Detroit on 12″, or indie from Brooklyn on cassette, they've got you covered. The only question is not whether you should grab one of these (you should), but what city will be next?

EXTERNAL MENACE formed in 1979 in Coatbridge, near Glasgow, Scotland. They were typical of the Second Wave of British punk bands – faster and rougher than the class of 77, but not an all out UK82-style attack -yet. THE DROOGETTES were formed in Philadelphia in February 2013. Their vision was clear from their earliest conception, to provide the Punk and Oi! movement with an all-female alternative to a scene that is mostly dominated by males. Here, REBEL SOUND brought these two awesome Punk/Oi! bands in a split 7", that doesn't even need cool vinyl colors to help it (although it doesn't hurt!). Whether you pick up the 'Black' or 'Purple' (not pictured versions), the 'Halloween Orange', 'Kelly Green' OR 'Orange Crush' splatter version, you can't lose!

THE SPACEPIMPS are a product of the Drive-Thru Records era; a time when music and friendships went hand-in-hand, and when pop punk was revered. From the basements of the Steel City to venues across the world, THE SPACEPIMPS have been permeating their brand of pop punk to the ears of listeners all over the globe. "Eternal Boy" is their DIY self released LP on either 'Black' or 'Halloween Orange' vinyl. This is their first release, a la LAST PUNKROCKERS RECORDS and is a self titled 7", sure to be the first in a long line of releases (there are rumors of another 7" this fall). Still not satisfied with the amount of synth music available, MEDICAL RECORDS dug deep to bring you "Centopah" by U/V LIGHT! A Modular Synth/Pop/Loop group, U/V Light sounds more than a bit like Cloudland Canyon at times. This is because it is the first "solo," effort from Kip Uhlhorn of CC. U/V LIGHT is more of a pop affair. It is also not a simple continuation of Cloudland Canyon.
